I was born on the 23rd of December 1969, in Zagreb, Croatia, where I still live and work. After finishing High School For Applied Arts in 1988 I started working in an animation studio and published my first comics and illustrations. In 1990 I began collaborating with Darko Macan on "Albert the Butler", a series of short horror stories published in Croatia and Germany. One of these stories has been afterwards republished in Caliber Comics' "Negative Burn". Darko was the writer on most of the comics I did for the Croatian publishers, including"Svebor & Plamena", a teenage soap-opera, for which I recieved an award for the best realistic comic in Croatia in 1997.
I began working for DC Vertigo in 1999, co-creating "Outlaw Nation" with writer Jamie Delano. For my work on "Outlaw Nation" I won the "Russ Manning" award for the most promising newcomer at the Eisner awards of 2001.
In 2002 I illustrated the four-part series "Hellblazer Special: Lady Johanna Constantine", written by Andy Diggle.
In 2005. I've finished the album from series ''L'Histoire Secrete'' for French publisher Delcourt.
For the last two years I've been a regular fill-in artist on Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra's ''Y - the Last Man'' and I'm drawing a weekly strip "Martina Mjesec" with Darko Macan for www.stripovi.com.
